Chris Bowler is a Level 3 certified personal trainer in Liverpool, specialising in strength & conditioning, fat loss, muscle development, postural correction and combat-style pad work. Based at PureGym Liverpool Aintree, he helps everyday people across Liverpool, Walton and Bootle build real strength and feel genuinely good in their own skin.
Chris has been around fitness his whole life — Taekwondo as a kid, kickboxing through his teens, then strength training as he started coaching others. That combat-sports background runs through everything he does. Sessions move with energy, you'll learn proper technique, and yes — you'll get to throw kicks and punches if pad work is your thing.
If you've never set foot in a gym before, perfect. Most people Chris trains hadn't either. He'll walk you through every exercise, build a programme that fits your week (not the other way round), and adjust everything as you progress.
And outside the sessions? He's a friendly, approachable guy who genuinely enjoys the conversation. So if you spot him on the gym floor, don't be shy — he means it when he says he's happy to help.
